INTERHOLZ GmbH has been founded 1998 as a family owned timber trading company based on the management's experience of more than 30 years in international timber trade.
The company is located at Hauzenberg near Passau (Bavarian Forest) close to the River Danube and the Austrian and Czech borders.
As experts for the procurement of european timber and value-added engineered wood products we are concentrating on the worldwide export.
INTERHOLZ is also acting as an export agent for the biggest european sawmills and glulam manufacturers, representing exclusively the austrian glulam-mill Herbert Handlos on Japanese market and the german PHB group in the UK, Ireland, Australia and in the Near, Middle and Far East.
Since July 2003, we are allowed to grade Whitewood (Spruce/Fir) and Redwood (Pine) lumber according to EN 45011-1:2005 + A1:2011, British Standard BS 4978 C16/C24 and end-banded scaffold boards according to new British Standard BS 2482:2009 with PEFC-Certificate (chain of custody).
